Location: 3 Days in the Office, 2 Days Remote

Job Purpose:
The Registered Manager will be responsible for leading the Reablement and Independence Service, delivering high-quality short-term support to individuals, helping them regain confidence, independence, and control over their lives. You will ensure the day-to-day operations of the service are compliant with regulatory standards while focusing on the continuous improvement of the service. The Registered Manager will provide strong leadership, supervision, and support to the team, ensuring that staff are confident, motivated, and skilled to deliver outstanding care seven days a week. This role will play a key part in facilitating timely hospital discharges and smooth transitions into the reablement service.
Key Responsibilities:
*Service Leadership: Oversee the daily operation of the Reablement and Independence Service, ensuring that care is safe, effective, person-centred, and compliant with regulatory standards.
*Team Management: Provide leadership and support to the team through supervision, training, and performance management. Ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
*Compliance & Quality Standards: Ensure the service is compliant with CQC regulations and quality standards. Lead the development and improvement of the service through audits, performance monitoring, and service user feedback.
*Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with health and social care partners to facilitate timely hospital discharges and ensure smooth transitions into reablement services.
*Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the service, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being for every service user.
*Governance & Record Keeping: Ensure safe staffing levels, effective governance, robust record-keeping, and the achievement of high-quality outcomes.
*Person-Centred Care: Promote and deliver strengths-based, person-centred care that encourages independence and supports individuals to live safely and confidently in their own homes and communities.
Skills and Experience:
*Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within health and social care, particularly within reablement or similar services.
*Strong knowledge of CQC regulatory standards and experience in driving continuous improvement.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
*Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, partners, and stakeholders to deliver seamless care.
*Experience in managing service budgets, audits, and performance monitoring.
*Understanding of the principles of person-centred care and promoting independence and dignity.
