Do you have the attention to detail required to manage large volumes of invoice data and resolve discrepancies efficiently? A growing property organisation is seeking a Temporary Purchase Ledger Officer to support its finance function during a period of expansion and operational change. Working as part of a well-established team, this role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate processing and management of a high volume of supplier invoices. This role is for 6 months.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Reviewing and validating invoice data captured through an automated system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
*Investigating and correcting errors flagged within the system before processing
*Managing high volumes of invoices, including those requiring manual intervention
*Performing three-way matching, resolving discrepancies where automation fails
*Maintaining and working through outstanding invoice queues in a timely manner
*Supporting wider purchase ledger activities as required
The successful candidate will have:
*At least 2–3 years’ experience within a high-volume purchase ledger environment
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and refine large datasets accurately
*Experience working with automated invoice processing systems
*Confidence managing complex queries and resolving discrepancies independently
*A proactive and adaptable approach within a fast-paced finance team
This is a hybrid role, with two days per week on site in Hampshire and the remainder working remotely. The office is conveniently located close to transport links, with additional parking options available nearby.
