Duties & Responsibilities:
*Dealing with multiple drivers
*Communicating with ports
*Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
*Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
*Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time
*Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
*Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
*Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et
We are looking for candidates to apply who have the following:
*Previous experience as a Transport Planner – Essential
*Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
*Must be happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
*Excellent UK geographical knowledge
*Can work on own initiative
*Quick and efficient problem solving skills
*Organised at all times
