Job Description:
An established, forward-thinking Top 200 law firm is looking for an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Issuing contract papers for sales, including plot sales.
*Assisting with exchanges of contracts, completions, and post-completion work.
*Liaising with clients, agents, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and in person.
*Handling enquiries and preparing replies.
*Drafting and preparing legal documentation.
*Conducting and checking searches and mortgage offers.
*Preparing completion statements, bills, and pre-completion paperwork.
*Managing notices to complete and associated documentation for plot sales.
*Preparing SDLT forms and Land Registry applications, and dealing with all post-completion matters.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan and manage their own workload effectively.
*Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a logical, practical approach.
*The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive attitude to supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.
*Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
*The capacity to work independently while being an effective team player.
*Evidence of flexibility, accountability, and initiative.
*Excellent communication and active listening skills, with a focus on client care.
*A commitment to maintaining a positive, cooperative working environment.
