Job Description:
Our client based in Bicester is looking for a Despatch Coordinator to join their team, supporting the Sales team you will be instrumental in ensuring all stock is correctly stored, priced and labelled, as well as preparing stock for despatch and delivery and booking in all deliveries.
Offering £24,990 per annum this position will be 37.5 hours per week, typically running Monday to Friday but will require some weekends due to peak periods and store requirements.
Duties of the Despatch Coordinator-
*Price and ticket merchandise.
*Book in and receive stock.
*Assist with customer collections.
*Despatch stock as required.
*Be the main contact for staff with stock queries.
*Assemble some items for store display.
*Compete all related documentation, regarding despatch in intake.
*Minimise shrinkage and report all incidents of stock loss/damage.
*Open and close the store, fulfilling key holder responsibilities.
*Support customers with locating goods and using your product knowledge to lead them through the sales journey.
*Work with the sales team on the shop floor, aiding with placement of stock, sales and within the stock room.
*Maintain a clean and organised stock room.
Attributes:
*Comfortable with heavy lifting due to the nature of the role.
*Able to use computers and adapt to new bespoke systems.
*Work well within a team and individually.
*Good problem-solving skills.
*Previous experience working within a despatch, warehouse or stock coordination role.
