Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: [Location / 1 day a week in the office
Duration: 3 months
Hours: 17 hours per week
Rate: Up to £18 per hour
The CompanyA well-established pharmaceutical business with a strong reputation in its field, currently seeking interim support within the finance team during a busy period.
The RoleThis is a hands-on Accounts Payable position supporting the finance function on a part-time, temporary basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable process and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries
• Handling supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting with month-end processes as required
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal controls
Requirements• Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively in a part-time capacity
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
• Experience within a regulated or corporate environment is beneficial
