TIG Welder
Location: Pudsey, Leeds
Pay: £19.00 per hour
Hours: 4-day working week (36.5 hours)
Monday to Wednesday: 07:00 – 16:45
Thursday: 07:00 – 16:15
Elevation Recruitment Group’s Skilled Shop Floor division are currently working with an innovative capital equipment manufacturer who are looking to recruit an experienced Welder on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business offering a strong work-life balance with a 4-day working week.
The RoleWorking within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for producing high-integrity welds on pressure equipment, ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities*Welding sub-assemblies and pressure equipment using a range of techniques
*Working to achieve a high success rate on NDT-tested welds
*Meeting production targets and deadlines
*Working to a right-first-time approach
*Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental procedures
*Maintaining high levels of quality and workmanship
*Supporting other areas of the business when required
*Completing all relevant documentation to ensure full traceability
*Slinging and lifting large components safely
Skills & Experience*Previous experience working with pressure vessels
*Experience with radiographic and ultrasonic tested welds
*Strong background welding stainless steel
*Confident welding in 2G position and working to weld procedures
*Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
