KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant – Beeston & Chilwell (Nottingham)
Location: Beeston & Chilwell, Nottinghamshire
Position: Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: April
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in schools based in the Beeston and Chilwell areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of year groups, supporting children’s academic progress and overall development.
Key Responsibilities
*Support teaching and learning in Years 1–6
*Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
*Assist with core subjects including reading, writing, and maths
*Provide targeted support for pupils who need additional help
*Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
*Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*Experience working with primary-aged children (KS1 and/or KS2)
*A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Basic understanding of the primary curriculum
*Relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) – desirable
