Professional and Financial Lines Technician
Location: London, UK
Reporting to: Head of ProFin / Operations Lead
The company in London is seeking a Professional and Financial Lines Technician to provide high-quality technical and premium processing support to the ProFin Broking Team. The role will assist in the placement and servicing of Financial Lines insurance risks while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high standard of service for both clients and insurers.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to brokers in the placement and servicing of Financial Lines policies, including D&O, E&O, Crime, and Cyber.
* Prepare, process, and issue insurance documentation such as quotations, MRCs, endorsements, debit notes, and credit notes.
* Ensure all documentation complies with FCA regulations, company policies, and market requirements.
* Process premiums, APs, and RPs in accordance with agreed terms and market procedures.
* Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal finance teams to resolve premium and accounting queries.
* Assist with the production and processing of bordereaux where required.
* Maintain accurate records of placements, premiums, and bordereaux.
* Support compliance requirements under the AR framework and internal standards.
* Contribute to reporting and data analysis to assist management and board-level updates.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Financial Lines Technician within the London Market.
* Knowledge of Financial Lines products such as D&O, PI, Crime, and Cyber, or a strong willingness to develop technical expertise.
* Familiarity with London Market processes and documentation.
* Experience using broking systems (e.g., Whitespace).
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
