Location: London
Team: Nordic Investment Banking
A leading European financial institution with a growing international Investment Banking platform is seeking a Vice President to join its Nordic M&A team in London. This is a strategic hire within a highly active franchise focused on cross-border advisory, public and private M&A, and strategic corporate finance across the Nordics.
The Role
As a VP within the Nordic Investment Banking team, you will:
*Lead execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across the region.
*Drive financial modelling, valuation, due diligence and process management.
*Support origination efforts through pitch development, market analysis and relationship-building with key Nordic corporates and financial sponsors.
*Coordinate with product specialists and international sector teams to deliver comprehensive advisory solutions.
*Mentor and guide associates and analysts, ensuring high-quality output across all workstreams.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nordic market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a VP with:
*6-9 years of experience in Investment Banking, including significant M&A execution exposure.
*Strong understanding of Nordic markets; native-level language fluency in at least one major Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish) is strongly preferred.
*Proven transaction experience with the ability to manage full deal processes independently.
*Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
*Ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment with senior client interaction.
*Collaborative mindset and strong leadership qualities.
