The role sits within the Chief Data Office (CDO) and reports to the Senior Analytics Manager.

The Analytics Manager plays a key role in delivering business value through analytics and actionable insights.

This role holder will understand the strategic priorities of the business they are aligned against and work with the business to identify opportunities where the provision of analysis and insight can inform decisions, optimise performance, and unlock growth.

The role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to create a data-driven culture across the organisation.

The key accountabilities for the role are as follows:

Strategic Analytics Partner
*Collaborate with business leaders to understand business strategy and identify opportunities where data can create competitive advantage and improve operational efficiency, acting as a trusted partner
Analytics Delivery & Insight Generation *Lead end to end execution of analytics projects aligned with business objectives
*Use data storytelling techniques to transform complex data into clear, compelling insights presented in a way that drive measurable impact/outcomes and inform strategic decisions
*Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of analytics initiatives
*Ensure analytics outputs are accurate, timely, and actionable
*Ensure appropriate documentation and governance in place to minimise risks to the business or customers as a result of the analysis and insights provided
Data Enablement *Work with data engineering teams (and data owners) to ensure appropriate data quality, data accessibility, and data governance in place
*Implement best practices for peer reviews, shape reusable assets, documentation, knowledge sharing
Team Leadership *Lead and develop a team of analysts, ensuring high standards of analytical delivery
*Promote continuous improvement, learning and adoption of best practices in analytics
About You

Qualifications *Degree in an analytical discipline (e.g. statistics, computer science, maths) or evidence of equivalent practical experience
Knowledge/Experience: *Strong understanding of how business strategy links to commercial outcomes through analytics delivery
*Experience in data visualisation and storytelling, statistical modelling, and advanced analytics techniques including how to engineer data to support robust outputs
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
*Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks), data visualisation tools such as Power BI and excellent ability to code in SQL/Python
*Strong project management skills for delivery
*Good understanding of data management principles such as data quality and data ownership
Skills: *Curious mindset and strong problem-solving skills
*Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
*Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information to all levels in the organisation
*Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
