Our client, Buckinghamshire County Council, is seeking agency Team Manager for its Fostering service.


This is a 3-month assignment initially.


Pay rate TBC however the South East MOU permits up to £47.50 ph.




The role will involve the following:
*We are looking for a skilled manager with experience of managing Fostering teams.
*The manager will be responsible for the day to day running and oversight of the mainstream fostering team, reviewing and advising on the recruitment and assessment of carers, providing support, training, and guidance to the team.
*Liaising with the LADO on safeguarding referrals, overseeing training and support to carers including the Mockingbird project.
*To oversee the duty hub, Placement Support and Life Story Work.
*We require managers to be in for certain meetings, which is usually about 2 times per week, but with some flexibility around this (some weeks it might be less, some weeks it might be more).

Requirements of the role:


*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
*Must have significant and demonstrable background in Fostering social work
*Must have significant experience as a Team Manager or similar and ideally within a Fostering setting
