A growing, global industrial business with a strong reputation, solid financial footing, and backing from a wider group is creating a new role for a Finance Manager / Management Accountant to support the next phase of growth.
This is a great opportunity to join a close knit team where finance plays a key role in shaping business decisions, not just reporting numbers.


Key Responsibilities
*Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis)
*Maintain and reconcile financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
*Manage cash flow, including receivables and payables
*Oversee the fixed asset register and depreciation
*Act as the main finance contact for the wider group
*Support a sister company with similar accounting responsibilities
*Submit VAT returns and ensure UK tax compliance
*Liaise with external accountants on payroll, statutory accounts, and corporation tax
*Help maintain compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP standards
*Provide insight on margins, stock, and profitability
*Partner with sales and operations teams to improve processes
*Support budgeting and CapEx decision-making

Key Skills preferred
*ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW qualified or part-qualified
*Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or distribution environments
*Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
*Solid understanding of financial reporting and controls
*Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple priorities
*Good communication skills – able to work with non-finance teams
