The Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant selected will be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations and Phase 1 desktop studies, taking soil samples, groundwater and gas monitoring, borehole logging, preparing phase plans, writing factual and interpretive reports, and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.
The successful Junior Geo-Environmental Engineer must:
*Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
*Have experience in a geo-environmental and/or geotechnical position.
*Be willing to work outdoors on hands on projects.
*Hold a full UK driving licence.
*Commutable to Exeter and surrounding area.
*Have a full right to work in the UK.
