Paint Technician - BirminghamHours: Full-Time
Shifts Available:
*Afternoons: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
*Nights: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Pay:£14.00 - £14.50 per hour DOE
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Paint Technician to join a well-established plastics and automotive components manufacturer in Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in spray painting, surface preparation, and maintaining high-quality finishing standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities* Spray painting plastic and metal components to required specifications.
* Surface preparation, including sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming.
* Quality checking finished products to ensure smooth, defect-free finishes.
* Mixing and adjusting paints to match colour and finish standards.
* Operating and maintaining spray booths, tools, and equipment.
* Working efficiently to meet production targets and customer requirements.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Requirements*Previous experience as a Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer is essential.
*Experience painting plastic injection moulded components is highly desirable.
*Strong eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
*Flexibility to work either Afternoon or Night shifts.
