Job Description:
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Drop HGV Class 2 Driver on a temp-to-perm basis, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified drivers looking to gain hands-on experience within a supportive and structured environment.
You will work alongside a Driver’s Mate, delivering orders safely and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
What Your Day Will Look Like
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks before departure
*Ensuring all orders are safely loaded and secured
*Coordinating with your Driver’s Mate on delivery routes and schedules
*Completing multi-drop deliveries to customer premises
*Communicating with customers regarding deliveries, delays, or shortages
*Assisting with unloading goods at delivery points
*Collecting returns, empty kegs, and pallets
*Completing delivery paperwork and electronic POD tasks
*Liaising with Transport Management regarding any issues or delays
*Adhering to all health & safety and tachograph regulations
Skills & Requirements
*HGV Category C (Class 2) licence – essential
*Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
*Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
*Good communication and customer service skills
Working Hours
*Monday to Friday: 06:00am – finish (minimum 8 hours paid)
*No overnight stays or late evenings – great work-life balance
