Our client is a family-owned company, with many years’ experience. They are a new dealership in Glossop. They have car sales forecourt with a service, repair and MOT centre. This is on a busy main road and a well-known location.
Who Our Client Is Looking For
Our client has a vacancy for a Qualified Motor Car / Light Van Diagnostic Technician Mechanic. They are looking for multi franchise experienced person to come and join them. Someone who has the ability to diagnose faults and problems using their diagnostic equipment and their own expertise and knowledge.
They have a 6-ramp workshop with a dedicated MOT Bay. The facility is excellent and offers a great working environment. They have a modern main dealer facility, and they have a great opportunity for the right candidate.
Duties:


*Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
*Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken.
*Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required.
*Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational standards.
*Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
*Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Requirements:


*Proven experience as a Mechanic / Technician.
*Strong mechanical knowledge across various types of vehicles.
*Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
*Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
*Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
*Relevant qualifications or certifications at level 3.
*A valid UK driving licence is essential.
