I’m working with a well-established, growing business based in Windermere who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support their finance team. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of variety, and you’ll be working closely with an experienced Management Accountant.
This isn’t a role where you’ll just be doing the same thing on repeat. You’ll get exposure across multiple areas of finance and play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing:
• Daily reconciliation of income
• Monthly control account reconciliations
• Managing the purchase ledger
• Bank postings and bank reconciliations
• Supporting payroll checks and processes
• Handling invoicing and payment allocations
• Assisting with audit preparation
• Working closely with operational teams to resolve queries
What they’re looking for:
• Experience working in a busy accounts environment
• Comfortable with Excel
• Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload
• Good communicator who can work across teams
• Someone who takes pride in getting things right
