Mathematics Teacher - NorthamptonLocation: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Start Date: April 2026 or September 2026 | Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term
Are you a Mathematics teacher who can bring numbers to life and build real confidence in the classroom?
Looking for a role where you can make a clear and lasting impact on student progress?
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a range of supportive and well-established secondary schools across Northampton to recruit a committed Mathematics Teacher for April or September 2026 starts. Opportunities are available for both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking the right environment to develop.
What You’ll Be Doing:*Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 teaching in some schools
*Planning and delivering lessons that develop fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
*Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, from high achievers to those requiring additional support
*Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
*Supporting intervention strategies, revision sessions, and enrichment activities such as Maths clubs
*Working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking Maths department
About You:*Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) in Mathematics
*Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching the national curriculum at KS3 and KS4
*Committed to high expectations, both academically and behaviourally
*Able to engage, motivate, and support students across a range of abilities
*A team player who contributes positively to school life
ECTs are very welcome to apply, with excellent support and mentoring available.
