Engineering Technician – £16.93 p/h – Temp – Start ASAP
Location: Oxford
Hours: 37.5 per week

A leading biotech company is looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to support their R&D and workshop teams. This company develops innovative insect-control solutions used in both agriculture and public health.
This is a great opportunity for someone practical who enjoys building, experimenting, and working with a variety of tools and materials.
The Role
*Hands-on mechanical assembly and build work
*Working with metals, plastics, and 3D-printed components
*Using workshop tools (including drills, laser cutter, basic power tools)
*Setting up and operating a 3D printer (training provided)
*Supporting prototype builds and trial-and-error testing
*Reading and following engineering drawings
*Working safely in a mixed workshop and occasional lab environment
About You
*Practical, hands-on, and confident with tools
*Able to follow instructions and drawings accurately
*Comfortable asking questions when unsure
*Computer-literate (especially for 3D printer software)
*No degree required – vocational or workshop experience ideal
*Someone who works safely and pays attention to detail
