Experienced TIG Welder – Aerospace Manufacturing
Are you an experienced TIG welder looking to work on precision aerospace components? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our welding team, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality aluminium parts for the aerospace industry. Some job-specific training will be provided to help you excel in your role.
Key Responsibilities:*Perform TIG welding on aluminium aircraft components
*Adjust sheet parts to fit weld jigs accurately
*Use measuring equipment to ensure components meet drawing specifications
*Strictly adhere to health and safety and standard operating procedures
*Support energy reduction initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement
*Commit to ongoing improvement in manufacturing, quality, health, safety, environmental, energy, and sustainability practices
Core Skills & Attributes:*Proven experience welding thin-gauge aluminium sheets
*Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings (advantageous)
*Fabrication experience using basic hand tools
*Strong practical skills and attention to detail
*Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
*Problem analysis and decision-making capabilities
*Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and modern manufacturing methods
*Familiarity with ISO , and 9001 procedures
