Job Description:
Midlands | Hybrid flexibility available | Competitive salary + benefitsTalent STEM are assisting a leading healthcare and pharmaceutical services organisation is seeking an experienced Responsible Person (RP) to support and maintain compliance across regulated distribution activities within the UK and EU.
This is a key appointment within the quality and compliance function, offering broad responsibility across GDP governance, operational support, and regulatory oversight within a highly regulated medicines distribution environment.
Key responsibilities:*Ensure ongoing compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements
*Maintain and develop the Quality Management System (QMS)
*Oversee supplier and customer approval processes
*Support product recalls, returns, and disposition decisions
*Review and approve temperature excursion investigations
*Conduct internal GDP audits and support external inspections
*Provide compliance guidance to operational stakeholders
*Support continuous improvement across regulated distribution processes
*Liaise with regulatory bodies and external customers where required
Candidate profile:*Experience operating within a GDP-regulated pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
*Ideally currently acting as a Responsible Person, Deputy RP, or senior GDP Quality professional
*Strong understanding of wholesale distribution requirements
*Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and senior leadership
*Experience of audits, investigations, CAPA, and regulatory interaction
*Degree qualified or equivalent professional background
