Tax Senior - US/UK Tax
Overview
A leading UK accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a US Tax Senior to join its growing Private Client team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a high-quality portfolio of US and dual-status individuals, providing both compliance and advisory services within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a portfolio of US/UK private clients, including HNWIs, expatriates, and dual nationals
*Prepare and review US tax returns (1040s) and associated filings (FBARs, FATCA, etc.)
*Support advisory projects, including cross-border tax planning and structuring
*Build strong client relationships and act as a day-to-day point of contact
*Liaise with HMRC, the IRS, and internal teams to ensure compliance
*Assist with mentoring junior team members
Requirements
*Experience in US personal tax within a practice environment
*Strong knowledge of US/UK cross-border tax matters
*Working towards Enrolled Agent, ATT, CTA, or equivalent qualifications
*Excellent communication and client management skills
