About Us:
We are working with a two-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a happy and inclusive school that provides an excellent education for all its children. They are looking for a part-time PPA Teacher, for three days a week (Weds – Fri), to teach across Reception and KS1. There would also be some ad hoc cover required in KS2 in this PPA Teacher role. Key Responsibilities:
*Ability to work successfully as part of a team as a PPA Teacher
*Raise standards for all pupils, including underachieving pupils
*Promote positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards
*Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback accordingly.
*Contribute to the wider initiatives within the school.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*QTS or HLTA qualification
*Strong behaviour management
*Good understanding of the National Curriculum
*Prior experience teaching across the year groups
*UK classroom-based experience
