Overview
We have exciting opportunities within a Financial Accounting team to ensure completion of the Statement of Accounts and year-end close down.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and deliver the year-end close down process
*Prepare and support the completion of the Statement of Accounts (Local Authority)
*Provide hands-on technical accounting support during a busy period
*Work closely with internal finance teams to support statutory reporting deadlines
Essential Requirements
*Fully qualified accountant (CIPFA preferred; CCAB also considered)
*Proven hands-on experience of local authority year-end close down
*Strong background in preparing Statement of Accounts within a local authority setting
*Ability to hit the ground running with minimal handholding
*Prior Local Authority Experience
*Recently led LA year end and production of SoA.
