Procurement Manager (UK & Ireland)
Location: Glasgow
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
A great opportunity for an experienced Procurement professional to lead strategy, drive commercial value, and manage a diverse supplier base across the UK & Ireland.
The Role
As Procurement Manager, you’ll lead a team of Buyers and oversee sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and stock availability. You’ll develop the procurement strategy, support continuous improvement, and ensure strong commercial performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and deliver the Procurement strategy, ensuring robust processes and compliance.
*Lead, coach and support the Procurement team.
*Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, tenders and contracts.
*Maintain stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
*Drive cost-saving initiatives and commercial improvements.
*Support New Product Development with cross-functional teams.
*Provide accurate reporting, data integrity and management information.
*Lead procurement-related projects and support system improvements.
*Manage utilities contracts and non-stock suppliers.
About You
Essential Experience & Skills
*Proven procurement experience in a similar role.
*Tender management, negotiation and contract management expertise.
*Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
*Highly organised with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office; Dynamics experience beneficial.
*Project management capability.
