Pertemps are recruiting an Investigations Assistant to join our client’s busy Security Operations Centre. You’ll play an important part in helping the team understand what happened during incidents by reviewing reports, analysing CCTV footage, and putting together clear investigation packs.

This is a fantastic entry-level role for someone curious, organised, and ready to learn.
If you enjoy problem-solving, spotting details others might miss, and working with technology, this could be the perfect next step.


What You’ll Be Doing

*Reviewing incident reports to help spot trends or unusual activity
*Watching CCTV footage to capture key moments
*Building investigation packs with clips, timelines, and supporting evidence
*Recording accurate findings and supporting documentation
*Assisting the wider Loss Prevention and Security teams with information gathering
*Keeping records tidy, organised, and easy to access
*Supporting other teams during busy periods or absences (including occasional alternative shifts)

What We’re Looking For

*Someone reliable, organised, and keen to learn
*Strong attention to detail — you notice the little things
*Confident using computers and following processes
*Comfortable handling confidential information
*Happy working independently or as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

*Experience with CCTV or security systems
*Retail, admin, or customer-facing background
*Interest in security, compliance, or investigative work
