Job Description:
As the bakery business expands into the European retailers this Category Manager will focus on driving category growth and delivering strategic insights to support business decisions. You’ll be instrumental in delivering data insight into actionable plans alongside sales into the large key European grocers.

As the EU Category Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth for brands and private label across the European retailers. By leveraging data-driven insights and building strong relationships, you’ll develop collaborative strategies that align with commercial priorities and deliver impactful results.


Key Responsibilities:
*Category management of key European Grocery accounts.
*Build strong partnerships with retailers, providing category insights and fulfilling ad hoc analysis requests.
*Identifying trends and opportunities to drive growth.
*Drive category rationale for securing product listings and distribution expansion.
*Stay ahead of market trends, conducting competitor analysis and store visits to ensure strategic alignment.
Profile
A successful Category Manager will have:
*Data to Insights: Experience of turning complex data into actionable insights and opportunities. Previous experience of using both shopper research and market trends to drive category growth.
*Building Partnerships: Forge trusted relationships with key retail customers, acting as their go-to expert for objective advice and collaborative category plans.
*Sales Support: Provide actionable insights and category rationale to support distribution, listings, and promotional strategies.
*Execution & Growth: Deliver range reviews, maximise shelf space, and execute strategies to drive visibility and sales.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000.
*Hybrid working pattern to support work-life balance - must have access to Bedfordshire 3 days per week
