Academics Ltd are supporting a number of secondary schools in Swindon who are looking to appoint a Graduate Cover Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the classroom, develop behaviour management skills, and build confidence working with students.
The Role*Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
*Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
*Act as a positive role model for students
*Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times
Ideal Candidate
*A recent graduate with an interest in teaching
*Experience working with young people (desirable)
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Confident, calm and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively
*A proactive and professional approach
