Warehouse Operative (Counterbalance Forklift Licence)
Location: Aberdeen
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour (to be increased 1 Apr amount TBC)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
37.5 hours per week
1-hour unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities
*Operate forklift trucks safely in line with company procedures
*Support garment decoration processes, including heat sealing
*Pick, pack and prepare stock for internal distribution and dispatch
*Load and unload deliveries efficiently and safely
*Carry out general warehouse and housekeeping duties
*Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working environment
*Assist colleagues to help the team meet daily operational targets
*Follow health and safety guidelines at all times


Skills Required
*Confident forklift operation
*Strong attention to detail
*Good communication skills
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic
*Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
*Basic IT or scanning-system skills (advantageous but not essential)


Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
*Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
*Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or stores environment
*Understanding of safe manual handling
Desirable:
*Knowledge of garment decoration or heat sealing processes
*Experience using warehouse management systems
*Familiarity with stock control and goods-in/goods-out procedures
