Working with a leading international law firm looking to hire a SQL Applications Systems Engineer to join their IT team.
This is a hands-on SQL Server role focused on managing and optimising enterprise database environments that underpin critical business systems.
The role:
*Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments
*Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise queries
*Work with HA/DR technologies (AlwaysOn, replication, mirroring, log shipping)
*Support data integrations across firm systems
*Work with BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, Power BI)
*Support applications sitting on SQL, including document management systems
What they’re looking for:
*5+ years SQL Server DBA experience
*Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills
*Experience with SQL Server high availability technologies
*Exposure to Azure SQL / cloud platforms
*Experience in legal or professional services is beneficial
Up to £95k + bonus + benefits
