A well-established Top 100 accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Interim Auditor to support its audit team during a period of increased demand. The firm is recognised for delivering high-quality audit and advisory services and has a growing portfolio of clients from an array of sectors and industries.
Your new role
The interim auditor will take responsibility for delivering specialist audit work for construction clients. The role requires a strong understanding of long-term contract accounting, project-based reporting, WIP assessment, and sector-specific regulatory considerations. The successful candidate will provide immediate support and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple engagements.

What you’ll need to succeed
*Leading and delivering audit assignments
*Reviewing financial statements with emphasis on long-term contracts, revenue recognition (including IFRS 15), WIP, and project costing.
*Identifying audit risks and ensuring appropriate testing and documentation.
*Supporting junior team members and contributing to technical discussions.
*Liaising directly with client finance teams and senior stakeholders.
*Ensuring compliance with UK & international auditing standards and internal methodologies.
*Producing high-quality workpapers and deliverables within agreed timelines.
