Cleaning Operative
*Job Type: Flexible (AM or PM shifts)
*Location: Crystal Peaks Market and Moor Market, Sheffield
*Working Hours: Between 0700-1900, Monday to Saturday
*Hourly Rate: £13.26
We are seeking an enthusiastic Cleaning Operative to join our team at Crystal Peaks Market and Moor Market. If you have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and are eager to make an impact in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting across various locations such as markets, food courts, and offices.
*Sanitize surfaces, areas, and workstations according to a set schedule to ensure a hygienic environment.
*Empty bins and manage waste disposal in an appropriate manner.
*Restock necessary supplies like toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
*Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
*Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the busy food court area at Moor Market.
*Conduct office cleaning tasks ensuring a tidy and professional workspace.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
*Knowledge of best cleaning practices and the use of cleaning equipment.
*Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication skills and attention to detail.
