Job Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in North Cambridge, who are seeking a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, office-based position, and the successful candidate will ideally have some previous experience within a finance or administrative role.
Typical duties include:
• Assisting with day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks
• Processing supplier invoices and supporting payment runs
• Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting with basic bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Assisting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
• Maintaining and updating financial records and systems
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team
• Carrying out any other ad-hoc duties as required
You will have:
• Previous experience in an administrative or finance-based role (desirable)
• AAT qualification or currently studying towards (desirable)
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
