Receptionist (Automotive Industry)
Location: Aylesford
Contract: Temporary – 6 Months | Immediate Start Required
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm + 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am–1:00pm)
Pay: £12.90–£13.60 per hour (Equivalent to £24,336–£25,584 per annum)

About the Role
A busy automotive service and repairs centre in Aylesford is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to support their front-of-house operations during a seasonal peak. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers bringing in vehicles for servicing, MOTs and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
*Welcoming customers to the service reception
*Managing check-in and collection of vehicles
*Handling incoming calls, booking service appointments and updating diaries
*Preparing service paperwork and processing basic invoices
*Liaising with service advisors, technicians and parts teams
*Maintaining a tidy reception and waiting area
*Supporting with general administration (scanning, filing, email handling)
Requirements
*Previous experience in Reception, Customer Service or Admin (automotive experience is a bonus but not essential)
*Confident communicator with strong customer focus
*Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
*Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
*Must be available to start immediately
