Job Description:
Early Years Practitioner – Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, RG27
Salary: £25,000-£29,000padepending on age, hours, qualifications, and experience
Flexible Hours: 3, 4 or 5 Day options
*4 Days working 7.30-6.30pm
*3 Days working 7.30-6.30pm
*3.5 Days – Working 3 days 7.30-6.30 plus 1 half day
*5 Days- working 3 full days 7.30-6.30 plus 2 half days
Contract: Permanent, All year round
Not suitable for term-time or school-hours applicants
You will be joining our caring, welcoming and supportive team. We are currently going through an exciting redevelopment project which includes refurbished staff room and kitchen, the creation of a new room for our youngest babies, and an extension of our two gardens to include new natural learning environments for the children. Not only do our children thrive in our care, our staff also learn and develop professionally, to reach their own potential and become strong, passionate and caring practitioners.

Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner
*To provide the highest levels of care and education for all children attending the setting.
*Supervise, engage with, support, and meet the needs of the children
*Bring a positive attitude and creative ideas that inspire children to learn
*Prepare and join the children in engaging (and sometimes messy) activities
*Be proactive and responsive, and react to children’s interests
*Be willing to sing, dance, dress up, and take the occasional trip to the moon
*Assess development for your key children
*Develop and maintain warm and professional relationships with the children, parents/carers, colleagues and visitors
*Maintain the high standards of the nursery
About You
*Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
*Have previous experience as a nursery practitioner or similar role
*Driver Preferred but not essential if local
*Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
*Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
*Be eligible to work in the UK
