We’re recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a fast-paced FMCG operation in Wolverhampton. This role is suited to someone who thrives in high-risk, high-care manufacturing environments and has a proven track record of driving efficiency, performance, and continuous improvement.
Production Manager - Responsibilities:*Lead and develop production teams to achieve KPIs across safety, quality, and output
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, waste reduction, OEE improvement)
*Manage production planning and resource allocation to maximise efficiency
*Ensure compliance within a high-risk / high-care environment (e.g. food safety, hygiene standards)
*Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime
*Work cross-functionally with engineering, technical, and supply chain teams
*Deliver strong people leadership – performance management, coaching, and development
Production Manager - Ideal Profile:
*Proven experience as a Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager within FMCG
*Strong background in high-risk / high-care production environments (e.g. food, pharma, etc.)
*Demonstrable success in improving efficiencies and driving continuous improvement
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and develop teams
*Data-driven mindset with experience using KPIs to drive performance
*Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma / CI tools desirable)

*£50,000 – £60,000 salary
