Job Description:
Resettlement Worker - Camden (Temporary, 3 Months)
Morgan Hunt is seeking an experienced Resettlement Worker to join a 16-bed short-stay service in Camden, supporting individuals facing multiple disadvantages including substance misuse, mental and physical health challenges, and involvement with the criminal justice system.
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri, 9-5 or 10-6)
Pay: £15.95 + £1.93 holiday pay = £17.88 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage a caseload of 16 clients, delivering person-centred support plans
*Conduct risk and needs assessments and develop resettlement strategies
*Support clients into stable housing and independent living
*Work with partner teams and housing providers to secure move-on options
*Assist clients with life skills, employment, education, and training
*Monitor rent accounts and minimise arrears
*Safeguard clients and manage risk effectively
Requirements:
*Experience working with complex needs, substance misuse, and mental health
*Knowledge of the recovery model and housing pathways
*Understanding of the private rented sector
*Strong assessment, planning, and client engagement skills
*Ability to support clients with budgeting and tenancy sustainment
