Job Description:
Salary: £30K-£45K DOE | Flexible working hours | Part-time considered | 21 days holiday + bank holidays | Christmas closure | Ongoing training & CPDs
Konker is recruiting for a Document Controller to join a growing architectural practice in Chichester. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative team delivering projects across all RIBA stages.
Part-time hours are also considered for this role.
You will support the architectural team by managing project documentation across multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with document control standards, and maintaining smooth workflows across all project stages.
This role does not involve design review or commenting on the technical content of drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Document Quality Assurance & Compliance
*QA check and maintain drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure correct file naming, numbering, revisions, title blocks, and compliance with project/client standards
*Maintain drawing registers and document trackers, liaising with project teams to resolve discrepancies
*Ensure all documentation follows company and project document control procedures
EDMS & Project Support
*Upload, distribute, and manage documents via EDMS platforms and client/contractor portals
*Monitor workflows, track approvals, and maintain clear audit trails
*Support teams with issuing packages, tracking transmittals, and collating record/handover documentation
Salary for this position is between £30K & £45K, subject to experience. A part-time working arrangement is also considered.
