Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Electrical & M&E

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus (profit share)

The role of Quantity Surveyor - Electrical & M&E will involve:
*Quantity Surveyor position dealing with Electrical services and M&E
*Dealing with projects typically across the central belt of Scotland
*Meeting with clients for site visits building relationships
*Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
*Producing formal quotations to customers
*Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
*Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
*Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
*Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
*Working on projects ranging from £1m - £5m
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Electrical & M&E with
*Must have Quantity Surveying experience within Electrical or M&E market sectors
*Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
*Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques
*Highly organised with good attention to detail
*Excellent communicator written and verbally
*Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
*Good team player who also works well individually
