Job Description:
Our client is a well respected local employer in Woodbridge and are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor. As a Human Resources Advisor, you will be instrumental in managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is committed to fostering a positive work environment.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in human resources, a strong understanding of HR practices, and excellent communication and organisational skills. You will support managers and employees on HR issues, provide coaching on policies and procedures, and manage recruitment processes from writing job descriptions to conducting interviews. Additionally, you will oversee employee onboarding and offboarding, coordinate staff holidays, sickness, and training, and manage employee relations cases such as grievances and disciplinaries.
Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate employee records, writing and updating contracts, arranging appraisals and performance reviews, and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of employees. Staying up to date on employment legislation and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices are also crucial aspects of this role.
Experience in a similar role, proficiency in administrative tasks, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust with staff members are essential. While a CIPD qualification and mental health training are beneficial, they are not required.
Benefits include free on-site parking, a highly supportive team, in-depth onboarding, a pension scheme, and staff discounts.
If you are passionate about human resources and eager to contribute to a well-respected, growing organisation, consider applying for this exciting role as a Human Resources Advisor
