Job Description:
Looking for a part-time role where no two mornings are the same? We’re hiring a reliable and personable Porter to join a well-managed residential development in Brighton.
This is a front-of-house focused role, perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is happy to roll up their sleeves when needed.
The Role
You’ll be the face of the building - based at reception, assisting residents, handling deliveries, and ensuring everything runs smoothly day-to-day. From welcoming guests to keeping communal areas spotless, you’ll play a key part in creating a safe, well-presented, and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Acting as the main point of contact for residents and visitors
*Managing deliveries, logging and distributing post
*Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of reception and communal areas
*Carrying out daily inspections of the building
*Assisting with basic porter duties (bins, light maintenance, errands)
*Monitoring access, contractors, and general building security
*Handling calls, logging requests, and supporting with admin tasks
*Reporting maintenance and health & safety issues
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in concierge, porter, hospitality or similar
*Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
*Strong communication skills and attention to detail
*Able to work independently and take initiative
*Hands-on, flexible attitude with a willingness to help
*Comfortable multitasking in a front-facing role
Working Hours
*Monday to Friday
*8:00am - 12:00pm
*No bank holidays
