Quantity Surveyor

Randstad are looking for a QS to work for a housing civils company on a permanent basis. Work is full time , 5 days a week, in Middlesbrough.
Must have housing or housing civils experience.
The Role
*£50k-60k per annum.
*Chasing client payments.
*Helping with general site admin.
*Measuring and quantifying materials for site.
*Organising meetings for site.
*Find out a client’s needs and assess if the plans are feasible.
*Negotiate contracts and work schedules.
*Monitor sub-contractors and stages of construction.
*Report on costs and prepare accounts for payment.
*Keep up to date with construction methods and materials.
*Follow Health and Safety regulations.
*Strong understanding of forms of Contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.)
*Post Contract
*CVR/Reporting
*Contract Administration
*Change Control
*Strong Relationship Builder
*Good Communication
*Excel Skills
Requirements
*RICS / CICES accredited degree
*HND/HNC qualification
