Position: Senior Business Migration Accountant
Location: Home-based with occasional office days - London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
*Provide guidance and mentoring to Business Migration Accountants and Assistant Business Migration Accountants.
*Support the preparation of first-year end accounts for audit.
*Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for clients within the first year.
*Assist with maintaining accurate client data on financial systems.
*Liaise with accounting departments to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of accounting records.
*Work with outgoing agents to obtain relevant financial and property information to enable the smooth onboarding of new properties.
*Act as a point of contact for outgoing agents and clients, resolving queries and ensuring accurate transfer of information.
*Ensure funds received from outgoing agents are correctly allocated and recorded.
*Import and review opening financial data accurately into the company’s accounting systems.
*Undertake financial lease reviews to ensure properties are set up correctly within systems.
*Work with incoming agents to transfer relevant information for the smooth offboarding of properties.
*Act as a key point of contact for incoming agents and clients during property transitions.
*Prepare and issue final handover reconciliations and ensure all financial records are complete.
*Close properties on financial systems and arrange closure of relevant bank accounts where required.
*Ensure all suppliers are paid prior to final fund transfers and that client service continuity is maintained.
*Transfer funds to incoming agents to ensure continuity of service.
*Assist in the preparation of ad hoc financial reports and accounting analysis where required.
*Support the transition of properties to client accounting teams once onboarding has been completed.
*Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements.
Previous Experience / Technical Competency:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong IT and numeracy skills.
*Recognised accounting qualification / part qualified / qualified by experience (CIMA / ACCA / AAT).
*Significant experience within an accounting role.
*Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of accounting systems (Propman desirable).
*Experience within the property industry (highly desirable).
