Tradewind Recruitment Liverpool are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of GCSE English to join a well-regarded secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking English department.
This role is specifically for a qualified English teacher delivering the UK curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4. It is not a TEFL position.
The Role:*Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4

*Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the UK national curriculum

*Prepare students for GCSE examinations

*Monitor, assess and report on student progress

*Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate:*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*Has experience teaching English within the UK secondary curriculum

*Demonstrates strong subject knowledge at GCSE level

*Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress

*Has excellent classroom management skills
