About LondonEnergy
LondonEnergy operates the second largest waste contract in the UK, handling and processing nearly 750,000 tonnes of London’s waste every year. We have a dedicated team of people working across our various North London sites, making a positive difference to the environment and the local community.
By processing household waste at our facility, we produce enough waste from energy to power 80,000 homes every year and recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres.
About the role
As Senior Supervisor for Facilities and Estates, you will lead the General Maintenance Operatives and Drivers at EcoPark, ensuring facilities and estates services run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Reporting to the Real Estates Manager, you will work closely with other Facilities & Estates Supervisors and operational teams to support day-to-day performance and the integration of new assets and facilities, including the RRF, EcoPark House and the Energy Recovery Facilities.
Responsibilities:
*Lead and supervise Supervisors, Maintenance Operatives, and Drivers, including 1:1s, attendance (Kronos), and return-to-work processes.
*Plan, allocate, and track work using D365, including work orders, POs, reporting, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
*Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to manage service requests, priorities, and deliver company plans.
*Ensure compliance with H&S, policies, risk management, audits, and maintain all required documentation and registers.
*Oversee maintenance of vehicles, plant, equipment, and servicing schedules to ensure timely and compliant operations.
*Manage resources effectively, including staff, inventory, equipment, materials, and commissioned services to ensure quality and value.
*Act as the main Facilities & Estates contact, driving communication, continuous improvement, and supporting ad-hoc projects and meetings.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with experience leading or supervising maintenance teams within a facilities or estates environment.
