Senior Development Infrastructure Officer
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and oversee delivery of developer-funded and third-party highway infrastructure projects (S106 & S278 agreements)
*Act as main point of contact for developers, contractors, designers, and stakeholders
*Coordinate technical administration and monitor project progress from planning consent to adoption
*Ensure compliance with legal obligations, standards, and agreements
*Prepare formal documentation and secure financial contributions and fees
*Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
*Uphold organisational values, equality duties, and health & safety requirements
Key Requirements:
*Proven experience managing highway infrastructure projects via S106 & S278 processes
*Degree-level education or equivalent knowledge with commitment to professional development
*Strong knowledge of highway legislation, design standards, and construction practices
*Good understanding of health & safety requirements
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
*Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills
*High level of IT literacy
*Ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders
