Experienced Mechanic Required
Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a Level 2 qualification or above in vehicle maintenance and be confident carrying out both routine maintenance and major mechanical repairs.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can work efficiently under pressure, and is capable of handling complex mechanical jobs to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and general repairs.
*Diagnose mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
*Complete major repairs including clutches, gearbox replacements, and engine rebuilds.
*Undertake other complex mechanical work as required.
*Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
*Maintain accurate job records and report any additional work required.
*Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
*Keep the workshop clean and organised.
*Level 2 qualification or above in vehicle maintenance and be confident carrying out both routine maintenance and major mechanical repairs.
*Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
*Proven experience carrying out major mechanical jobs such as clutches, gearboxes, and engine rebuilds.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good time management and organisational skills.
*Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.
