Job Description:
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level support to an Executive Director within the public sector, ensuring seamless coordination of schedules, communications, and operations. This temporary role is based in Canary Wharf and requires exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

Description
*Providing high-level, confidential support to the Executive Director
*Managing a complex and ever-changing diary, ensuring effective prioritisation of meetings and commitments
*Coordinating internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, papers, and briefing packs
*Acting as the first point of contact for the Executive Director, managing and screening correspondence, calls, and emails
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
*Taking minutes at senior-level meetings and tracking actions to ensure timely completion
*Preparing presentations, and correspondence to a high standard
*Handling highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
*Proactively identifying and resolving administrative issues to ensure the smooth running of the Executive Director’s office
Profile
A successful Executive Assistant will have:
*Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a complex and fast-paced workload and juggle competing priorities
*Experience supporting senior or executive-level stakeholders, with a clear understanding of expectations at this level
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the confidence to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders
*High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across documents, scheduling, and correspondence
*Sound judgement and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive or confidential information
*A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently
*Resilience and adaptability, remaining calm under pressure and responsive to changing priorities
*Strong skills in diary management, meeting coordination, and travel planning at a senior level
*The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team
*A professional and approachable manner, with the ability to build trusted working relationships quickly
*Familiarity with the public sector or similar environments is advantageous
