Job Description:
Our client is an established debt fund and in the last two years has lent £1.2bn against residential and commercial assets across the UK. They proximately focus on short-term bridging finance loans, but have the flexibility to look at development, investment and preferred equity transactions as well.
They have secured funding in place and are looking to deploy £1bn across new transactions in 2026. As such, they are looking to hire a Senior Lending Analyst into their deal execution team.
Main responsibilities include:
*Screening and evaluating new lending opportunities.
*Running financial models and preparing internal sighting and credit papers alongside the originators.
*Assist with transaction execution including due diligence.
*Good understanding of the legal process i.e. legal documentation and reports on title.
*Assessing credit worthiness of counterparties.
*Undertaking comparable analysis of new lending opportunities.
*Assist in managing existing borrower and broker relationships.
*Liaising with the originators and colleagues in Credit Risk, Operations and Credit Committee.
The ideal candidate will have:
*2-3 years’ experience as an analyst in real estate at either a debt fund, challenger bank or family office.
*Strong credit, financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
*Experience in writing and presenting credit cases.
*Strong academic background.
